Business card printing to become more creative?

Firms that use the services of business card printers might like to use more innovative designs, it has been suggested.

Business card printing may soon become more innovative, following suggestions it is important the items stand out from the crowd.

According to an article in the Birmingham Business Journal, a growing number of bosses are incorporating innovative elements into their cards.

Mark Jamroz, vice-president and creative director for US company Think Positive, recently invested in several thousand new business cards, which include a unique flap that lifts to reveal the person's name.

"'You are a creative agency, I can tell by your card.' That's what people tell us," he said, implying the items reveal a lot about the nature of an organisation.

Furthermore, the news source stated the ritual of exchanging business cards gives firms an opportunity to be noticed.

The Calgary Herald also noted recently the items are a valuable way of connecting with new contacts, particularly at networking events such as recruitment fairs, where they should be exchanged alongside a strong handshake.
