Printed stationery 'set to become more experimental'

The printed stationery used for weddings will be more artistic next year, it has been suggested.

Next year's trends for printed stationery will incorporate more artistic and experimental designs.

That is the suggestion of Wedding Paper Divas, which stated couples getting married in spring 2011 will be opting for invitations that put a modern twist on vintage themes, such as the roaring 1920s and the retro 60s looks.

Photo montage thank you cards are also expected to be popular, as this allows brides and grooms to inject some of their personality into their correspondence, the firm remarked.

Furthermore, it noted growing numbers of couples are looking to their cultural heritage for stationery inspiration and are using rich cultural motifs and bold colours.

And while vivid shades such as honeysuckle pink and sky blue will come into their own in spring, hues such as grey and coral will continue to be used as accents for invitations and cards.

Firms looking to redesign their printed stationery who are inspired by these tips may wish to place bulk orders, as a recent article on nebusiness.co.uk stated doing so can help companies save money.
