High quality business cards 'will help firms make a good impression'

One writer has urged firms and entrepreneurs to ensure they have good quality business cards before they attend networking events.

Those planning on attending networking events should enlist the services of a business card printing firm to ensure the items are of a high standard.

This is the view of Stefan Topfer, writing for Nasdaq.com, who urged firms to "invest in top quality professional business cards if [they] want to make the best impression".

He described business cards as "the most vital tool for good networking", adding examples that are of poor quality or are badly designed will give the individual who receives it a negative impression of the enterprise.

The advice follows that of Steward Townsend of Oracle, who recently told EUcommerz a plentiful supply of business cards is key for those who are attending industry seminars.

Me Topfer also offered a number of other tips for those going to networking events, urging them to prepare thoroughly beforehand, set goals they want to achieve during their time there and make sure they come across as a genuine person
